Injection mold parts often produce burns during production for a number of reasons. The cause of burns in injection mold parts will also vary depending on the machine, mold or molding conditions. Different solutions will be taken for these differences, and we will briefly analyze them today.
1. Mechanical reasons. For example, due to abnormal conditions, the cylinder is overheated, the resin is pyrolyzed, burned, and injected into the product, or the resin is stagnant due to the nozzle and the screw thread and the check valve in the material, and the discoloration is brought into the product. The product has dark brown burn marks in the product. At this time, the nozzle, screw and barrel should be cleaned.
2. The reason for the mold. Mainly due to poor exhaust, this burn usually occurs in a fixed place, and is easily distinguished from the first case. At this time, attention should be paid to measures such as adding a venting groove to the exhaust rod.
3. In terms of molding conditions. When the back pressure is above 300 MPa, the barrel will partially overheat and cause burns. When the screw speed is too high, overheating will also occur, generally in the range of 40 to 90 r/min. When the venting groove is not provided or the gas groove is small, the injection speed is too high, which may cause burnt of the overheated gas.
The above three points are the causes and solutions for the burns of the injection mold parts. I don't know if you have a deep understanding of this aspect.
